Love Stories:  Coby is a sweet and loving boy. The thing I love the most about him, which I have never encountered in another cat, is his love for belly rubs. He will always greet us with a roll onto his back and a turn of his head to ask for a belly rub. Every vet and vet tech has commented on this charming trait, saying that they can’t believe how sweet and affectionate he is, even when immediately post-operative. Coby’s sweetness is what makes it hard to be upset when he sits at the top of the stairs and gives you a long and high-pitched mew that tells you it is time for him to have his evening treat. You expect cats to feel superior but Coby really embodies the word: every pillow is his bed, and he demands the highest level of the cat tree. That superiority complex is what makes his love all the more precious, because it is clear that he chooses his people very carefully. We are blessed to have been chosen by him.
